Wahoo Smart Trainers and Computers

KICKR trainers, ELEMNT computers and sensors, set up properly

Wahoo covers most of what a rider needs to train and navigate. The KICKR and KICKR Core smart trainers turn your own bike into an indoor setup for the winter months, the ELEMNT bike computers handle navigation and data outside, and the heart rate straps, cadence sensors and trainer accessories fill in the rest.

More about Wahoo

Which turbo trainer? A direct drive smart trainer like the KICKR Core is the sweet spot for most riders: quiet enough for a flat, accurate enough for structured training, and ready for Zwift and TrainerRoad out of the box. Tell us your bike and the space you have and we will point you at the right one.

Aztecs Bikes is an award-winning independent bike shop in Bow, East London. Order online, or talk it through with us in store before you commit to a setup.

Compare the sensor and power options with Magene, and see the rest of the range in parts and accessories. If you are setting up indoors for the winter, a spare cassette matched to your bike saves a lot of swapping, and we will match and fit it in the workshop.

Frequently asked questions

KICKR or KICKR Core?

The Core is the sweet spot for most riders: quiet enough for a flat, accurate enough for structured training, and ready for Zwift and TrainerRoad out of the box. The full KICKR adds a heavier flywheel, higher power ceiling and a more realistic feel on hard efforts, which matters most if you race.

Do I need a cassette for a smart trainer?

On a direct drive trainer, yes, unless the model comes with one fitted. Buying a spare cassette that matches your bike saves swapping one back and forth every time the weather changes. Tell us your groupset and we will match it and fit it in the workshop.

Which ELEMNT computer should I get?

It comes down to screen size, battery life and how much on device navigation you want. If you mostly follow routes you have planned in advance and want the data clear at a glance, the smaller units do everything most riders need. Come and see them side by side before you decide.

Not sure which one is right for you?

Tell us how far you ride, where you park it and what you need to carry, and we will point you at the right model. We build and safety check every bike in our workshop in Bow before it leaves.
