Which Genesis Croix de Fer should I buy?

The frame is the same story across the range, so the number on the bike is really telling you about the groupset, the wheels and the finishing kit. What does the Genesis lifetime frame warranty cover?

Genesis backs its frames with a lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects. The exact terms and any registration requirements sit with Genesis, and we will point you at them when you buy so the cover is in place from day one. Crash damage and wear are not covered, which is where insurance comes in.

Are Genesis bikes good for riding in London?

They are among the best suited bikes we sell for it. Steel frames take the sting out of broken tarmac, the tyre clearance means you can run something wide enough to stop worrying about potholes, and the mounts let you add mudguards and a rack. They are built for British weather rather than dry test rides.

Can I fit mudguards and racks to a Genesis?

On most models yes, and it is one of the reasons people choose them. The Croix de Fer in particular has mounts almost everywhere. We fit guards, racks and dynamo lighting in the workshop, and it is far easier to do at the point of purchase than to retrofit later.
