A steel all-terrain bike inspired by the mountain bikes of the 80s and 90s, with modern tyres and brakes.

The Pinecone looks like a retro MTB and rides like one in the best way: a 70 degree head angle, short 440mm chainstays and skinny heat treated chromoly tubes that flex just enough to keep rough ground fun. It makes a brilliant pub bike, and a surprisingly capable trail bike once you point it at the woods.

It is designed around 650b wheels with up to 2.6 inch tyres, and takes both rim brakes and disc brakes. Horizontal dropouts make single speed easy, and the included derailleur hanger insert lets you run gears. If you have an old XT groupset or a set of V-brakes waiting for a frame, this is it.
