A Wind Tunnel Gravel Race Bike With 1990s Rave Style
The Rave SLR ID2 is Wilier's gravel race bike, and it looks the part with acid colours and pixel graphics inspired by 1990s rave culture. Under the paint is a new SLR carbon frame that saves 5.3 watts at 35km/h, developed through wind tunnel testing and simulation.
Short chainstays and a compact wheelbase give explosive acceleration, and the frame clears tyres up to 52mm for grip on technical gravel. This build runs Campagnolo Record X 13-speed Wireless on Miche Graff Aero 48 tubeless wheels with 45mm Schwalbe G-One R tyres, and you choose the cockpit: the integrated carbon F-Bar, or an alloy Superzero Gravel bar with a Stemma S2 stem.
Why we chose this for our customers:
- SLR carbon race frame: HUS MOD carbon with liquid crystal polymer, 990g, fully integrated cables.
- Campagnolo Record X 13-speed Wireless: Campagnolo's 13-speed wireless gravel groupset for small gear steps on every climb.
- Up to 52mm tyres: Extra width for grip and comfort on rough, technical gravel.
- Two cockpit choices: Integrated carbon F-Bar for the cleanest, fastest front end, or alloy bar and stem for easy fit changes.
