A World-Ready Touring Bike, Straight From the Box
The Genesis Tour de Fer 30 is the bike we recommend to every customer at Aztecs Bikes who dreams of long-distance touring. Built around a Reynolds 725 chromoly steel tubeset with a flat handlebar for all-day comfort, it arrives with dynamo lighting, front and rear racks and full mudguards already fitted. Genesis has refined the Tour de Fer over many years, and the 2026 model brings a new straight-bladed fork, fully housed cables and the modern Shimano CUES LINKGLIDE drivetrain.
Why We Chose This for Our Customers:
- Reynolds 725 Chromoly Steel Frame: A legendary tubeset for touring, offering supreme comfort on long days in the saddle with excellent durability for loaded riding.
- Shimano CUES U6000 2x10 LINKGLIDE Drivetrain: 46/30T chainrings with an 11-39T cassette deliver a wide, low gear range for steep climbs with heavy loads, and LINKGLIDE holds its shifting quality far longer between services.
- Busch and Muller Dynamo Lighting: A Shimano dynamo front hub powers the lights front and rear, so you never need to worry about charging batteries on a multi-day tour.
- Front and Rear Racks Fitted as Standard: An AtranVelo AVS Tour Lite rear rack plus an Explorer lowrider front rack, with Promax DSK-717 mechanical discs on 180mm and 160mm rotors and Vittoria Randonneur Tech 700x40mm tyres.
