These Terms and Conditions (the "Terms") govern your use of the Aztecs Bikes website (aztecsbikes.com), the services we provide online, and purchases made in person at our shop in Bow, East London (together, the "Service"). The website, online services and shop are operated by Aztecs Bikes Ltd.
By accessing or using our website, or by placing an order with us (online or in store), you confirm that you accept these Terms and that you agree to comply with them. If you do not agree, please do not use our website, place an order online, or make a purchase in our shop.
These Terms apply to all users of the website and customers of our shop, including browsers, customers, suppliers and contributors of content.

2. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time, for example to reflect changes to our services, the law or our internal policies. The most recent version is always available on this page, with an updated revision date at the top.
If we make significant changes that affect existing customers, we will notify registered customers by email where possible. Continued use of the website after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
3. Use of our website
You may use our website only for lawful purposes. You must not:
- Use the website in any way that breaches applicable UK or international law;
- Use the website to engage in fraudulent or harmful activity;
- Interfere with the security, availability or proper functioning of the website;
- Upload or transmit viruses, malware, trojans or any other harmful code;
- Copy, reproduce, resell or commercially exploit any part of the Service without our written permission;
- Access the website using automated scraping tools or bots without our written permission.
We reserve the right to suspend or refuse access to the website or our services at our discretion, in particular where misuse or fraud is suspected.
4. Eligibility and ordering
By placing an order on our website or in our shop, you confirm that:
- You are at least 18 years of age and legally capable of entering into binding contracts;
- All information you provide to us is accurate, current and complete;
- You are authorised to use the payment method provided at checkout.
5. Contract formation
When you submit an order on our website, you make an offer to purchase the products selected at the prices stated. Your order is acknowledged when we display an order confirmation page and send you a confirmation email. This acknowledgement does not, by itself, form a contract between us.
A binding contract between you and Aztecs Bikes Ltd is formed only when we send you an email confirming that your order has been accepted and is ready for collection (Click and Collect) or that it has been dispatched (Home Delivery). For in-store purchases, the contract is formed at the point of sale.
We reserve the right to decline any order before that point, including where:
- The product is no longer available or has been mispriced;
- There has been an obvious error in the product description, image or price;
- We are unable to obtain authorisation for your payment;
- We suspect the order is placed for a fraudulent purpose;
- We cannot deliver to the address provided.
If we decline an order after payment has been taken, we will refund the amount paid in full, normally within 10 business days.
6. Products and services
Product availability
Some products may be available exclusively online or exclusively in store, and stock levels may be limited. All products, specifications and prices may change without notice. Photographs are illustrative; we cannot guarantee that the colour shown on your screen exactly matches the actual product.
Right to limit sales
We may limit the quantities sold per customer, per household or per order. We may also refuse or cancel orders that we reasonably suspect are fraudulent.
Pricing
All prices are stated in pounds sterling (GBP) and include UK VAT at the prevailing rate where applicable. Delivery charges are additional and are confirmed at checkout. We are not responsible for typographical, image or system errors that affect product information or pricing; we reserve the right to correct such errors and to cancel affected orders before dispatch.
7. Returns, refunds and warranty
All purchases are subject to our Delivery and Returns Policy, which forms part of these Terms. The policy includes:
- Your statutory 14-day right to cancel for online purchases (the cooling-off period under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013);
- A 28-day total return window for eligible online orders (14 statutory days plus an additional 14 days of goodwill);
- Items that cannot be returned (custom-built bikes, unsealed helmets, perishable goods and certain clothing items);
- Workshop labour warranty, parts warranty, and the position on customer-supplied parts.
The full policy is available at aztecsbikes.com/delivery. Please review it before placing your order.
7A. Cycle to Work scheme purchases
We accept purchases made through Cycle to Work schemes, including Green Commute Initiative (GCI) and Cyclescheme. Purchases made through these schemes are subject to the following specific terms:
- Vouchers and certificates issued by Cycle to Work scheme providers are non-refundable and non-transferable once redeemed against an order;
- Once a voucher is redeemed and goods are collected or dispatched, the order cannot be cancelled or refunded directly by us. Any cancellation, hire agreement changes or end-of-hire arrangements must be handled through your scheme provider and your employer, in accordance with their terms;
- Faulty or damaged goods purchased through a Cycle to Work scheme remain covered by your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and by the manufacturer warranty. We will repair, replace or arrange resolution of faulty goods in the same way as for any other customer;
- If your voucher value exceeds the order total, the balance is forfeited unless the scheme provider explicitly allows a top-up or partial use, in line with their rules;
- All Cycle to Work purchases are also subject to the terms and conditions of your scheme provider, which take precedence over our standard returns policy in respect of the hire agreement and any end-of-hire arrangements.
7B. Custom-built bikes and non-refundable deposits
We offer custom-built bikes, in particular through our partnership with Elves Bikes, where the frame, components, sizing and finish are configured specifically for you. The following terms apply to all custom builds:
- A deposit is payable at the time of order to confirm your custom build and to allow us to place the order with the manufacturer. The deposit amount is confirmed in writing before payment is taken;
- Deposits for custom builds are non-refundable once your build has been confirmed and the order has been placed with the manufacturer. This is because custom-built bikes are made to your specification and cannot reasonably be resold to another customer;
- Custom-built bikes are exempt from the 14-day cooling-off period under regulation 28 of the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, which excludes goods made to the consumer's specifications or clearly personalised;
- Custom-built bikes cannot be returned or exchanged for change of mind, sizing preference or component selection once the build is confirmed and the order placed;
- If a custom-built bike is faulty, damaged in transit or incorrectly specified due to our error, your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the relevant manufacturer warranty apply. We will work with you and the manufacturer to repair, replace or, where appropriate, refund the bike;
- Lead times for custom builds are estimates provided by the manufacturer and are not guaranteed. We will keep you informed of any material delays. Delays alone do not give rise to a right of cancellation or refund of the deposit, unless the delay is unreasonable in light of the original estimate.
8. Payment
Payment is taken at the point of order. We accept the following payment methods through our payment partners:
- Major debit and credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, JCB, Maestro);
- Apple Pay and Google Pay;
- Klarna and PayPal (offered through our payment provider Stripe, where available at checkout);
- Other methods displayed at checkout.
Online card payments are processed by Stripe, our online payment service provider. In-store card payments are processed by Dojo. We do not store your full card details on our systems.
9. Accuracy of billing and account information
You agree to:
- Provide accurate, complete and current billing information;
- Promptly update your account details when they change;
- Keep your account login details confidential.
If your billing or delivery information is incorrect, this may delay processing of your order or prevent us from fulfilling it.
10. Third-party services and links
Our website integrates with, or links to, third-party tools and services, including:

- Stripe (online card payment processing, including Klarna and PayPal where offered at checkout);
- Dojo (in-store card payment processing);

11. User content (reviews, comments, submissions)
If you submit content to us, for example a review, photograph, comment or suggestion:
- You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide right to use, edit, publish and distribute it in connection with our business;
- You confirm that the content is your own and does not infringe the rights of any third party;
- You agree not to submit unlawful, defamatory, offensive, harmful or misleading content.
We reserve the right (but are not obliged) to remove any content we consider inappropriate, at any time and without notice.
12. Personal information
Your submission of personal data through the website is governed by our Privacy Policy, available at aztecsbikes.com/privacy, and our Cookie Policy, available at aztecsbikes.com/cookies. Both form part of these Terms.
13. Errors, inaccuracies and omissions
Our website may occasionally contain errors or omissions relating to pricing, product descriptions, stock availability, shipping times, promotions or offers. We reserve the right to correct any such errors and to update or cancel orders if any information is found to be inaccurate, including after an order has been placed.

15. Disclaimer of warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we do not guarantee that:
- The website will be available continuously or without interruption;
- The website will always be free from errors, viruses or vulnerabilities;
- Product descriptions or other content on the website will always be free from inaccuracies.
Except where expressly stated, the website and its content are provided "as is" and "as available".
16. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Aztecs Bikes Ltd shall not be liable for:
- Indirect, incidental, special, punitive or consequential losses;
- Loss of profits, revenue, data, sales, savings or business opportunity;
- Damages arising from your misuse of products purchased from us;
- Damages caused by errors, inaccuracies or omissions in the website.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability where this cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under English law, including (but not limited to) liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any breach of your statutory rights as a consumer.
17. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Aztecs Bikes Ltd, its directors, employees, suppliers and partners against any claim, loss, liability or expense (including reasonable legal costs) arising from:
- Your breach of these Terms;
- Your misuse of the website or our services;
- Your violation of any law or third-party right.
18. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found by a court to be unlawful, void or unenforceable, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
19. Termination
These Terms remain in effect until terminated by either party. We may terminate or suspend your access to the website immediately, without notice, if we reasonably believe that you have breached these Terms or that misuse or fraud has occurred. You remain responsible for any orders placed and any amounts owed up to the date of termination.

21. Entire agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy and Delivery and Returns Policy, form the entire agreement between you and Aztecs Bikes Ltd in relation to your use of the website and the Service. They supersede any prior agreements or understandings between us.
22. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of, or in connection with, them or their subject matter or formation are governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any such dispute or claim.
