The Minnaar signature Assegai.
Developed with Greg Minnaar, the Maxxis Assegai has become a benchmark front tyre for enduro and aggressive trail. The tightly-packed tread delivers predictable cornering bite and strong braking traction across a huge range of conditions, and the 29 x 2.60 EXO TR version strikes a sensible balance between grip and weight for UK trail riding.
Why We Chose This for Our Customers:
- Greg Minnaar signature tread: packed knobs for edge-to-edge cornering grip
- Dual Compound: harder centre base for longevity, softer shoulders for cornering
- EXO sidewall protection for trail and light enduro
- Tubeless Ready (TR): lower pressures, better traction
- 29 x 2.60 size for modern trail and enduro bikes
Fitment: Confirm clearance in your fork and frame before ordering 2.60 width tyres.
Ideal for: Aggressive trail riders, enduro racers and anyone wanting a confidence-inspiring front tyre.
