Fully built delivery to your door

Your bike is built, safety checked and road tested by our mechanics before it leaves the shop, then carried on a padded rack in a specialist van. It arrives ready to ride.

Why that matters

Most online bike retailers ship a bike flat packed in a box. You unpack it, fit the bars, the wheel, the pedals and the seatpost, then set the gears and the brakes yourself, or you pay a local shop around £60 to build and check it for you. Get it wrong on a brake or a torque setting and it is not a small mistake. Self assembly can also invalidate your manufacturer warranty: most brands require the bike to be built and handed over by an authorised dealer.

With us the bike is finished before it moves. No box, no assembly, no build fee at the other end, no packaging to get rid of, and your warranty intact.

Basso's Gravel Bike, Rebuilt for Speed and Versatility

Since 2018 the Basso Palta has stuck to one idea: uncompromising versatility. The Palta III is the full evolution of it, with more lateral stiffness for hard efforts, sharper aerodynamics and more compliance to smooth out rough gravel. Like every Basso frame it is handmade in Italy.

There is an internal down tube storage compartment with two bags behind a colour matched carbon cover and a Fidlock magnetic lock, plus a Vibram guard on the down tube against rock strikes. This build runs Shimano GRX Di2 12-speed, and you can choose the cockpit: Fuga carbon integrated handlebar, or alloy Strato stem and bar.
